Teresa Barnabei
 

As a published author, school owner and national trainer, Theresa Barnabei has over 35,000 hours of live presentations. 

She is recognized as one of the most inspirational speakers in her field, focused on getting students to take action that will make a difference in their own lives. Her passion for real estate has afforded her the opportunity to be a presenter on behalf of NAR, REEA, and for associations and brokers throughout the country, including 4 years as a Keller Williams BOLD Coach. 

She currently serves on the REEA Board of Directors, is the subject matter expert in Arizona for The CE Shop, is a contracted writer for Kaplan University/Dearborn Real Estate Education, and authored and hosts the Designated Real Estate Consultant designation course. 

Her bestseller book, “Multiply Your Business,” presents 10 new marketing realities for the real estate industry. It is bursting with ideas for a new era of lead generation! Theresa was also the 2017-2018 REEA Secretary.

     
 
Ann Cyphers
  Ann Cyphers, CCIM, President of Cyphers Brokerage Associates, Inc., has been extremely active in the Atlanta commercial real estate sector for many years completing hundreds of sale and lease transactions for local and national companies during her 30-year career. Prior to forming her own company, Ann was Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle, with responsibilities that included training, new business development and the marketing and leasing of Class A office buildings. 

Ann has been a GREC certified instructor for over 20 years teaching sales and broker pre-licensing courses, post license courses and continuing education.  She earned her CCIM (Certified Commercial Member since 1998) and is a graduate of Georgia State University.
Ann has served on several real estate boards and received numerous awards including the CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Development of the Year Awards and Shining Light Award.  

     

G. William James
  G. William James is one of the leading training professionals for handheld computing and mobile technology in the United States for retail, medicine, sales, business and real estate. A sales trainer and seminar presenter since 1986, thousands have heard his enthusiastic yet real-life approach to time management and sales excellence. James was an early user of PDAs, is devoted to handheld computing and has built his career on the technology. In 2003 he began teaching smartphones as well, and today teaches all platforms and devices on the Android, Apple iPad and iPhone, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile operating systems.

James was featured in Black Enterprise Magazine as “Master Of The PDA.” James is also a frequent guest speaker at luncheons and association functions for many Industries, all of which are constantly striving to remain on the leading edge of handheld technology. He has represented for Palm, GE Supra, MarketSource, Inc., and others as a platform speaker and booth personality at conventions and technology events. His company, Handheld Computer Solutions, conducts specialized training seminars for companies and real estate organizations throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Canada.
     
 
Jamie Platt Lyons
  Jamie Platt Lyons is a partner at the law firm of Lazega & Johanson, LLC with a passion for teaching. She is a veteran community association attorney with a sense of humor and energy rarely matched in the legal field! Jamie regularly teaches and publishes about timely topics in the community association industry and has received many awards for her classes and her commitment to the community association field. 

Jamie is a past President and Board member of the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association and tomorrow she will obtain her Gold Certification in teaching from the national Real Estate Educator’s Association.
     

Bruce Moyer, DREI

Bruce Moyer, DREI, is a native of Gettysburg, PA. Bruce is a graduate of Baptist College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina where he obtained his Educational Specialists Degree (Masters +30). 

Following ten years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Bruce entered the real estate industry in appraisals and then residential real estate sales with his own company in Charlotte. Bruce is an active member of the (National and State) Real Estate Educators Associations and has been teaching real estate courses for eight years and holds the Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) designation. Bruce is also the 2018-2019 REEA President.

     

D. Scott Murphy
  D. Scott  Murphy has been appraising real estate since 1985. In 1993 he earned his SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute.

In 1996, he established D. S. Murphy & Associates and has grown the firm to have over 70 associates – servicing Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and California.

In 2004, Scott was appointed by Governor Perdue to the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board where he is actively working to improve the laws and more closely regulate appraisers in Georgia. He has served as the Chairman of the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board for the past three years. Scott was reappointed as Chairman of the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board by Governor Nathan Deal in July of 2016.

He is an active member of the Appraisal Institute, the National Association of REALTORS®, the Northeast Metro Atlanta Board of REALTORS®, Georgia Real Estate Fraud Prevention and Awareness Coalition.
